Download the GMUOdysseyAccess file to your computer. Double click on the icon to start the install.
Click Next to continue. The License Agreement screen will be next. Read through the agreement, then click on "I Agree" to continue.
Choose where the Odyssey Client will install the required files.
The files will install.
Once the files are installed, the Completing screen will give you the choice to start the Client. If at Mason, please launch the Client Manager.
The Client Manager will give oyu a choice between Which network you wish to connect, Mason Resnet (Residence Hall Network) or Mason Wireless (Mason Public Network). Choose the network you wish to connect with and then click on the "Connect to the Infranet Controller" box.
Once you have selected a Controller the "Reconnect" button will become active. Click on "Reconnect to start your session.
You will be prompted for your Mason e-mail username. Logging in is required by Commonwealth security regulations.
The first time you connect, you will see the following screen. Select the "Permanently trust this server" option and click "Proceed".
You will then be prompted for your password. This is the password that you use for your Mason e-mail account.
Once you have supplied your password and have completed authentication, you will see this icon in your toolbar. This means you are connected to the Infranet Controller. You may now bring up a web browser and without further need to log in or keep a browser window open.
If you right click on this icon and choose to open the Odyssey Client Manager you will see the following screen.
This screen shows which Controller you are connected to as well as the time left in your session. The deafult time for a session is 24 hours. If your computer is set to Hybernate when the lid is closed, this will not affect the Odyssey client.
You will receive the Username and password prompt each time you log in, per Commonwealth regulations.
