Odyssey Client Update

The current version of SNAP does not fully support the Odyssey Client. Some functions will continue to work, however, we have received reports that trying to use SSH while connected with the Odyseey Client does not work. If you come across an issue with the Odyssey Client, please inform the Support Center and we will update this page. We plan to move to the new version of the SNAP system in the Spring Semester, at which time the Odyssey Client will be fully supported.

9/1/09	Windows 7 doesn't work with SNAP	(R) Until the official release of Windows 7 we will not support the Operating System. Once the oifficial release date is past, we will not have full support for Windows 7 with SNAP until the vendor releases the patch for the system. Once we have received the patch, it will be tested prior to implementation. We expect to have something by mid-Spring semester.
9/3/09	Playstation Online Gaming doesn't work properly	(R) Register your Playstation. If there is still an issue, report game and known ports for game to Support Center. NET will work to allow ports if possible.
10/15/09	SSH doesn't work with Odyssey Client	(W) Use the agentless mode if using SSH is required. (R) We have discovered that there is a configuration error in the system that is not allowing SSH from some sections of campus while allowing it in others. We are working to fix this error.
